Introducing Profile Strength on LunarCrush
Profile Strength builds trust and transparency across the LunarCrush community by rewarding loyalty and expertise. From one-size-fits-all to tailor-made, Profile Strength helps create a more personalized experience.
How does Profile Strength work?
Profile Strength recognizes the longevity and consistency of contributions to the broader crypto space and ranks users based on combined behavior and experience. Profile Strength gives users the opportunity for unique benefits, recognition, and privileges on LunarCrush.
As users build a profile, the system calculates Profile Strength in real-time. These calculations are measured on a sliding scale based upon factors such as:
- Connected accounts (Twitter, Discord, Metamask, ZilPay, Coinbase, etc.)
- Lunr HODL/Send Ratio (Must not send more than 25% of all earned Lunr)
- Not adhering to an acceptable HODL/Send ratio will immediately disable all future Lunr earnings until it is back in compliance.
- Social following
- Frequency of social posts
- Crypto-specific posts
- Coins owned/traded
- Account Age (i.e. How old is your Twitter account or MetaMask wallet?)
- Trading Experience
- Active participation on both mobile and web
Profile Strength is re-evaluated each time users update profiles with new information. Users can follow your Profile Strength progression over time and receive notifications anytime a change occurs. Additionally, users now have the opportunity to share their Profile Strength across social media.

Profile Strength arranges users according to the many factors mentioned above and provides them with new opportunities for points, privileges, and recognition on LunarCrush.
Noobie
Requirements
- Acceptable Lunr HODL/Send Ratio (Must not send more than 25% of all earned Lunr)
Receive up to 40 Points per day (not including multipliers), depending on level
- 5 points per day for any site activity
- Up to 5 Opinions per day (5–15 points, depending on user level)
- Up to 20 minutes per day time on site
- Earn up to 0.1 Lunr each day with maximum points.
Novice
Requirements
- Connected mobile app + web
- Acceptable Lunr HODL/Send Ratio (Must not send more than 25% of all earned Lunr)
Receive up to 65 Points per day (not including multipliers), depending on level
- 5 points per day for any site activity
- Up to 10 Opinions per day (10–30 points, depending on user level)
- Up to 30 minutes per day time on site
- Earn up to 0.2 Lunr each day with maximum points.
Enthusiast
Requirements
- Connected mobile app + web
- Acceptable Lunr HODL/Send Ratio (Must not send more than 25% of all earned Lunr)
- At least one 6-month old blockchain account
- 6-month old Twitter account + user follows @LunarCrush
Receive up to 105 Points per day (not including multipliers), depending on level
- 5 points per day for any site activity
- Up to 20 Opinions per day (20–60 points, depending on user level)
- Up to 40 minutes per day time on site
- Earn up to 0.5 Lunr each day with maximum points.
Pro
Requirements
- Connected mobile + web
- Acceptable Lunr HODL/Send Ratio (Must not send more than 25% of all earned Lunr)
- At least one 1-year old blockchain account
- 1-year old Twitter account + user follows @LunarCrush
Receive up to 130 Points per day (not including multipliers), depending on level
- 5 points per day for any site activity
- Up to 25 Opinions per day (25–75 points, depending on user level)
- Up to 50 minutes per day time on site
- Earn up to 1.0 Lunr each day with maximum points.
Master
Requirements
- Connected mobile + web
- Acceptable Lunr HODL/Send Ratio (Must not send more than 25% of all earned Lunr)
- At least one 2-year old blockchain account
- 2-year old Twitter account + user follows @LunarCrush
Receive up to 155 Points per day (not including multipliers), depending on level
- 5 points per day for any site activity
- Up to 30 Opinions per day (30–90 points, depending on user level)
- Up to 60 minutes per day time on site
- Earn up to 2.0 Lunr each day with maximum points.
Profile Strength gives users new objectives to track and accomplish. Similar to LunarCrush Levels, Profile Strength rewards active participation with premier benefits.
How do I increase my Profile Strength?
There will be many opportunities for users to increase Profile Strength over time. Ways to achieve higher Profile Strength tiers includes:
- Participating on LunarCrush across both mobile and web
- Having an acceptable Lunr HODL/Send Ratio (Must not send more than 25% of all earned Lunr)
- Connecting your Twitter account
- Connecting your Discord account
- Connecting your Ethereum accounts
- Connecting your Zilliqa accounts
- Connecting exchange accounts such as Coinbase
- Fill out all other pre-existing onboarding tasks
- Increasing your social following
- Posting/tweeting about crypto
- Trading ERC-20 tokens
- Trading ZRC2 tokens

Profile Strength is adding exciting new dimensions to LunarCrush Opinions™.
As you ascend from Noobie to Master you will gradually gain access to new kinds of opinion insights for increasingly complex topics.
By verifying things like trading experience, owned assets, and account age we can now effectively weigh user opinions differently based on Profile Strength. This presents dedicated users with new opportunities to be recognized for their contributions and to establish themselves as thought leaders in the crypto space.
Noobie opinions will be just as valuable to the community as Master opinions because they will provide users with fresh perspectives on beginner topics and valuable gauges of entry-level sentiment.
Combining Profile Strength with LunarCrush Opinions™ facilitates an environment of progressive research that is ideal for both veterans and newcomers in the space.
Rewarding access to opinions data based on Profile Strength progression benefits the entire ecosystem by separating the Noobies from the Masters and allowing them the opportunity to learn from each other.
What does Profile Strength mean for the Lunr Token?
The implementation of Profile Strength will be extremely beneficial for the long-term health of Lunr tokenomics going forward. Our mission with the Lunr utility token is the same as it’s always been. The more you contribute to the network the more you earn. Recalibrating Lunr rewards based on Profile Strength further guarantees that users are being fairly rewarded proportionate to their credibility and contribution within the ecosystem. In other words, it’s business as usual. The only major difference is that Profile Strength makes it increasingly important for users to hold their earned rewards.
HODL/Send Ratio
In order to maintain a Novice tier or above and to continue earning Lunr, you’re required to maintain a fair HODL/Send ratio. Not adhering to an acceptable HODL/Send ratio will immediately disable all future Lunr earnings until it is back in compliance.
In order to be eligible to earn Lunr and for higher Profile Strength tiers you must HODL a minimum of 75% of the token that is distributed to you. If you drop below this threshold for any reason, you must refill your account to bring it back up to at least 75%% of what you’ve earned.
